Yabu City is a picturesque town, tucked away in northern Hyogo Prefecture in Japan. Overflowing with abundant cultural, natural, and historical beauty, it is the perfect place to experience a slice of living in the Japanese countryside.

Re-designed Visit Yabu landing page

During my three years living and teaching English in Yabu City, I was deeply influenced by their appreciation for nature and their commitment to building close-knit communities.
I re-designed Yabu City's tourism landing page, Visit Yabu, to reflect a more modern design aesthetic and to correct several usability issues, including unclear or crowded copy, lack of iconography, and messy navigation. (See screenshots below, click to enlarge)

Responsive Design - 3 Screen Sizes
With so many different devices nowadays such as phones, tablets, and laptops, responsive website design is crucial for properly displaying content. I created small, medium, and large device layouts so that a web developer could better understand how to account for various screen sizes.
